What you build

Four components. One whole game.

Every piece of a board game in one place.

01
Cards
Design your cards and create entire decks.
02
Boards
Lay out a board at any size. Auto-splits to print.
03
Figures
Pawns, dice and tokens — exported as STL.
04
Case
A printable insert with a slot for every piece.
Cards · decks

Design a card. Build a full deck.

Drop primitives onto a card front. The whole deck previews live and exports as a print-ready PDF.

  • Vector-first. Every element is print-resolution.
  • Shared backs. Edit once, every card inherits it.
  • Print-ready PDF with bleed and safe-zone baked in.

FAQ

What people ask first.

The questions that come up over and over before signing up. Got another? Send it to hello@boardstudio.app.

When does it launch?

In the next few months. We're polishing the final details before opening the Kickstarter — join the waitlist to hear the exact date before anyone else.

Do I need design skills?

No. The tool is built so anyone can design and print almost any game they can imagine. And if you do have a designer's eye, the results will be striking.

Can I use a regular printer?

Cards and boards export to PDF, ready for any standard print shop. For figures, tokens, dice or the game box — exported as 3MF and STL — you'll need a 3D printer or an outside printing service.

What can I design with it?

Almost any game you can imagine: boards as large as you want, cards, figures, dice, coins and — of course — the full case to hold everything together.

Do I need an AMS?

An AMS multicolor unit gives the most striking finishes, but it isn't required. You can swap filaments by hand or use the emboss feature to add texture and shape to any piece.
